Route de Gravier

The inaugrial Route de Gravier was ridden today or otherwise know as the  ‘L’enfer du Nord Canberra’.  The long sections of pave like corrugations took their toll on both rider and equipment with several reports of dust causing much anguish and heartache in the bunch.

  1. hey guys, not many people would read comments so it should probably be discussed via email.

  2. And a point well made Mal!! No – a single regroup at the start of HorsePark isn’t what we need – we need a slight culture change. If a few more in the TEAM just glance back on each crest and manage the riders in front – we can keep it together all the way to the point where we spend the collective 3fidis.

  3. Thought it was a great ride this morning – thanks all and thanks to James for suggesting – I would be happy for it to replace Sutton……

One issue for discussion is how we manage catch points – Mal makes the point that we didn’t wait at the top of the rise before setting off down horse park drive. Would it suffice to regroup there and then no holes barred to coffee?

  4. Where was the velodrome? In Dicks-aix or Civic-aix?

Who got the rock?? And when’s the next ROCK to be had?? Is it going on the program?
