3fidi does 2fidi – again!

Not quite satisfied with one 250km ride this week, I (eventually) rolled out of bed to join Matt, Bleeksie and the missus for another 250km ride.  Matt L also joined us for the first 50-odd kms.  The ride through Quenabeyan-Bungendore-Tarago-Goulburn-Gunning and on to home was an excellent 250kms with only 2200m of climbing and a gentlemens’ pace in the eight-hour ride.  We were joined by a herd of stallions that galloped alongside as we rode north of Lake Bathurst and had a liesurely breakfast among the bike goodies at the Greengrocer.  All good.  But we truly feared the pack (or yap) of maurauding chihuahuas that chased us down Gurrundah Road.  The Gunning servo gets two thumbs up – again.

added by Bleeksie:
Two flats along the way and we were treated to some local transport options! The GreenGrocer was fantastic, all that food and bike bling, plus they gave us complementary drink-mix powder to help get us home.
