Thanks for the photos and all your help over the weekend Bleeksie, much appreciated!
It wasnt a bad result considering how underdone our team was except for the Flying Dayn. We had a great run with no issues on such a quiet course – in fact I rode on two occasions 4+kms on the Blue lap at night without coming across a rider. Considering that the lap was only 12kms you understand how quiet it was. There was 23 teams in our comp and we were 16th overall
I did some summaries – not as good as Coach of course but Dayn averaged 33min per lap (12laps), 1 1/2min faster than me (11laps) and 3mins faster than Matt (11laps) & Alwyn (10laps).
He had the fastest lap both day and night and always did doubles.
If fact he was the reason why we lost because had he ridden it all by himself we would of won quite comfortably.
So a spot has become available for the team as Matt will be moving on to warmer climates in the new year.
Applications with reasons why you should be able to join such a successful team must be addressed to Captain Dayno including a 2 page resume of RECENT results – (How the racing going over there in Europe Coach?)
Training for the Mont starts NOW!
