The briefing from M was short and to the point – Agent Lou Lou had been taken by hostiles while deep inside Spectre’s HQ. Â My mission was simple. Â Save agent Lou Lou. Â Q had modified a Pitts Special stunt plane – I would fly low and hard, eject from the plane deep inside Spectre’s HQ, save agent Lou Lou and then reap my reward.
I was to meet Agent Tim at the airfield who had the plane fueled and ready to roll.  Tim would be flying with me.  We took off immediately I reached the field.  We climbed vertically to confuse Spectre’s radar.  We then ran  hard, the plane on full throttle.  As we approached the drop zone, we encountered enemy aircraft.  Knowing that I would have to jump at the first opportunity, Tim took the controls.  Immediately, he barrel rolled to avoid the air to air missile that had been fired.  With Spectre aircraft still on our tail, Tim did consecutive loops, followed by the old Cuban 8 and then into the climbing stall.  Rolling and stopping at each 45 degrees still saw Spectre closing.  We headed for the clouds.  Shaken, Tim asked me to take the controls.  I banked around the clouds at 180 knots.  We lost the Spectre aircraft.
Coming up to Spectre HQ, we dropped to 500 feet – this jump was going to be short and hard  – and went to super cruise following the river.
Over Spectre HQ I jumped. Â I dropped dead on target. Â Armed only with my Grandpapi’s automatic rolex wrist watch gun, I took down at least 50 Spectre Special Agents. Â My only disappointment was that I did spill some Martini on my dinner suit on the way through the HQ. Â By the time I reached agent Lou Lou, she was desperate. Â But was she a double agent? Â There was only one way to find out.
Against impossible odds, carrying Agent Lou Lou in my arms, I fought off another 50 Spectre Agents to reach my Aston Martin DB9 Sport that had been conveniently left outside Spectre HQ without raising any suspicion. Â Before returning to Thames House, it was imperative that I establish whether Lou Lou had
been turned. Â Long story short – all good.
