Two stages today and I hammered stage one, got 5th in super vets but that used my legs up and I had to cruise the second longer stage.
Don’t have a result for stage 2 yet but it will be down a bit.
Temperatures soared to 34 and it was hard going with seriously climby 14km cruise stage between also using up leg power.
Tomorrow even hotter, they say…. ouch!

Now they have lost our night bags, so I can’t shower or cleanup the bike until after 9pm, if they find our gear.
