A scene from the 2007 TdF at the top of our of our local hills. This year’s TdF will cross the Col de la Colombiere on stage 17. The climb begins in Cluses at 520m and has a nasty finish – long, unrelentingly hot if the sun is out and a finish always in sight, but seemingly never quite gained.
