After a month in which we learnt that perhaps it really isn’t about the bike and that certain training programs might be short a chapter or two, it’s nice to see that support (rather than faith, perhaps) is alive and well for members of the pro-peloton.  We ventured out with some 900 or so hardy Belgians in minus temperatures to join Philippe Gilbert and his fans for a ride through the Ardennes.  It was nice to get towed around by the World Champion, even if we were several hundred back in the bunch.
