We were invited to celebrate me leaving the local bike club, the “Soréze Velo Club” … ok, maybe they were a little sad as well.
Wine, cheese, sausages, breadsticks, aperitifs, speeches and an award at the end, for being a “strong and considerate rider and club member”.
The host is a collector of cycling paraphernalia consisting of little figurines, TdF dinky-toys and a display of jerseys spanning about 50 years…. now also includes a 3fidi jersey.

The award is made by a local artist from old cutlery.
